[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Sunny Sweeney[/lastfm] has a hit on her hands with “From a Table Away” The singer-songwriter says the track was inspired by something she actually witnessed, and had her feeling a bit like the nosy neighbor from “Bewitched”

Sunny admits the song was pretty easy to write, noting it only took her and writing partners Bob DiPiero and Karyn Rochelle a couple of hours to complete. She adds that she really likes “From a Table Away” and she’s thrilled that the track has found an audience. “From a Table Away” is the first single from Sunny’s upcoming self-titled CD.

I have been listening to traditional country music for most of my 58 yrs.I have pictures of my daughter when she was 5 or 6 yrs. old being hugged by Ricky Skaggs and EmmyLou Harris and now shes in medical school. What a thrill. But when I first heard “From a Table Away” I had to pull the car off the side of the road! I have NEVER had a song hit me like that! Cant wait for the cd to come out.Sunny is one in a million. AMAZING.

“From a table away” literally blew me away when I first heard it and every time I hear it again. The lyrics are haunting, Sunny’s voice is awesome and to top it all off, is a great dance tune!! I’m hoping she will make it over to Atlanta sometime for a concert. I will be first in line for tickets!
