Carrie Underwood can relate to her latest single. The singer says she understands the situation for the woman she sings about in “Good Girl.”

Carrie adds that it wasn’t that difficult for her to tap her “inner rock chick” to get the song’s harder sound, because “it’s always been there.” She explains that with two older sisters who “had control of the radio,” she listened to a lot of rock music when she was a kid. “Good Girl” is the first single from Underwood’s next album, “Blown Away,” which will be in stores on May 1st.
