Earlier this week, Joe Nichols and his wife Heather welcomed a new addition to their family! Their daughter Dylan River Nichols arrived on Tuesday, April 17.

The baby girl was a little ahead of schedule, but came into the world healthy. She weighs in at 7 lbs. and measures 21 1/4 inches.

And from the looks of it, she’s already got herself nickname courtesy of her famous daddy!

Joe took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to share an up-close shot of his daughter, Baby D, with his fans and followers.

Joe also shared a photo of the couple just before delivery.

Dylan River is the first child for the couple, both 35. They’ve been married since 2007 and friends since age 19. Nichols already has a 13-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
