Preparing For Country In The Park

Have you ever been to Country in the Park (CITP)? If not, KNCI can help you have a great time! Since it’s not your typical concert, we’ve outlined what to expect and more!

Be sure to check out our photos of fans and artists through the years too!

What’s Free?

CITP strives to make your day fun and affordable, especially for you and your entire family.

To make your day more enjoyable, country fans can expect: free parking, free entry for kids under 5 and a free kids’ play area, including inflatable games, slides, obstacle courses, face painting and more!

What Can I Bring In?

You can and should bring: unopened bottled water to stay hydrated, sunscreen to avoid burns, sunglasses and a hat since shade is limited, a sweater or jacket for the evening, chairs or blankets to sit on, and of course, your camera to snap pictures of your favorite artists! Since this event is several hours long, it’s best to wear comfortable walking shoes or your favorite cowboy boots.

To keep our fans safe and to ensure everyone can see the stage easily, the following items are NOT allowed: weapons, drugs, umbrellas, food, alcohol, ice chests or pets.

Will There Be Any Alcohol?

Of course! Beer, wine and margaritas will be available for purchase. Just don’t bring any in.

Should I Bring Cash Or Credit?

Bring cash! No vendors accept credit so be prepared. But if you end up forgetting (it happens) ATMs will be conveniently available.

What Time Should I Get There?

For you early birds out there, the parking lot opens at 6:00am, but the event does not open to the public until 10:00am. Most folks will likely pull into the lot around 10:00am or 11:00am and then the first concert starts at 12:00pm—so definitely be in the park before then so you don’t miss the show!
