Yes it was real snow that Lady A walked through. Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott says shooting the cover art for the group’s holiday album, “On This Winter’s Night,” was really something special.

Hillary said that she and her band-mates felt like kids playing in the snow-covered landscape.

Lady A shot the images in Park City, Utah, which was blanketed with several feet of snow. Hillary admits it was a new way of experiencing snow for her, because that’s just not how it is when it snows in the south. Lady A will be sharing the music of “On This Winter’s Night” with a special concert in Nashville on December 3rd, which will be taped for a GAC special debuting on December 5th.
