Little Big Town has unarguably had an amazing year. Their album Tornado soared to the number one spot and they even won Single of the Year for “Pontoon” and Vocal Group of the Year at the CMAs, but for the group who has been at the top, they are now at the bottom.
Today, Little Big Town is in mourning after losing a loved one.
They made the ill-fated announcement yesterday on their Facebook page that reads:
“Sadly, the Little Big Town family has suffered a loss in their immediate family and will have to cancel their upcoming concerts in Riverside, CA (11/28) and Los Angeles, CA (11/29). Riverside, CA will be rescheduled at a later date and the Los Angeles show at The Wiltern will now take place on February 8, 2013. Tickets for The Wiltern show will be honored on the rescheduled night. The band would like to thank their fans for their understanding and compassion during this very difficult time.”
It is unclear which family member has passed on, but our thoughts are with the entire band as they face this unfortunate turn of events.
