That’s what friends are for, just ask Darius Rucker. Darius tells Metro Source he owes his country career to a good friend.

The singer explains that when he was considering making his first country album he was also feeling “burnt out on music.” He admits he wanted to just invest in his friend’s chain of restaurants and retire from music, but his friend wouldn’t let that happen.

Rucker is now working on his third country album. “True Believers” will be in stores on January 22nd.
