If you had a son that was Taylor Swift’s age would you let him date her? One celebrity says no.

Michael J. Fox tells Vulture magazine, “No. No … Just back off,” he said, before admitting, “I don’t keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? …What a way to build a career.”

But, if his son Sam turned up at the end of the night with the starlet on his arm, what would he do?

“I wouldn’t even know who she was,” Fox said. That is, until he’d hear her breakup song, “‘Sam, You Piece of Sh*t,’ on the radio. Oh…that was the girl you brought home!’”

The actor’s 23-year-old son served as Mr. Golden Globe at this year’s awards ceremony where Best Original Song nominee Taylor, 23, was in attendance.

At one point during the night, co-host Tina Fey warned the notorious serial-dating songstress to stay away from Sam, but fellow host Amy Poehler contradicted, saying “Or go for it.”

“No, she needs some ‘me time’ to learn about herself,” Tina insisted.

It doesn’t look like Taylor and Sam will be dating anytime soon.
