After 30 years of touring, the Cowboy is riding away this time for good.

Sacramento turned out January 31st at Sleep Train arena to catch George Strait’s final go-round in the capitol city. George used to roll through Sacramento every winter like clockwork, introducing audiences to his latest hits and opening acts who would go on to become stars in their own right, like Clay Walker, Jodee Messina, Josh Turner, Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley. In return, George earned the loyalty of Sacramento country music Fans, who almost universally hail him as the undisputed King of Country Music.
