You can’t keep a good band down. I was thrilled to hear that Alabama will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a new 2013 tour called “Back to the Bowery Tour.”
This will be the band’s first tour in 11 years!
Back in 1973, their first concert was at The Bowery in Myrtle Beach, SC. To celebrate, the tour will kick off in Myrtle Beach with additional stops in Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia, Florida, New York and more. Tickets will go on sale this Friday in select markets.
“I’m so excited to celebrate 40 years since our first show at The Bowery,” said Randy Owen to All Access. “We still love one another, have played music together all these years, and are blessed to still be around. Most importantly, we are ever grateful for the fans, many having been with us since we used to play for tips, so to be able to go back out and play for them will make this a very special year.”
No Sacramento dates as of yet.
