This past December Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley joined the efforts behind Live Beyond…Thirst, a non-profit organization striving to provide clean water to homes throughout Thomazeau, Haiti. The Paisleys are helping with their efforts, both financially and as volunteers.

“Going to Haiti really opened my eyes to the plight of these hundreds of thousands of people–many of them mothers, fathers, and children–who are our neighbors,” said Kimberly. “With Live Beyond…Thirst, we can help give them a basic human necessity they have never had: Clean water. I want to show them they are not forgotten.”

Definitely not forgotten, Brad Paisley returned to Haiti this month as he and Live Beyond continue their efforts to bring purified water to families.

They fulfilled a milestone on February 24th, which Brad happily shared on Twitter with a picture:

He later shared a picture of another water system already fully operational. Click here to see.

Based on his Twitter updates, Brad appears to be in Haiti with former Olympic skater Scott Hamilton and former Senator Majority Leader Bill Frist.

Far from finished with their efforts, Brad says “We are just getting started.”

To help Brad and Live Beyond…Thirst, he is urging fans to take “The Paisley Challenge,” in which he is requesting donations in any size to help with the cause. More info here.
