Brooks & Dunn Reuniting, Joining Reba for Vegas Residency

After his long-running performances at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, Garth Brooks has decided that the time has come for his final show in Sin City.

On October 18th, Brooks sent an unusually cryptic email to his fans that read “The sevens have aligned. It has begun…thank you for believing…love, g.” Some fans thought the message meant that there was going to be new music released but this was not the case. Instead, Brooks’ announced that he would be performing a live Black Friday concert special.

The show will feature the Country star in a “very intimate setting, playing his guitar as he takes the audience through the musical journey that led him to become the number one selling solo artist in U.S. history,” a CBS press release states.

In the same press release Brooks  described how “growing up the last of six kids, music was the life blood of our family and as you can imagine, mom, dad, and each kid had his or her own favorite stuff and it all funneled down to me.”

Throughout the live show, Brooks will reflect on some of the artists that inspired him throughout his career such as George Jones, Merle Haggard, Simon and Garfunkel, and George Strait.

Be sure to watch Garth Brooks’ Live Performance from Las Vegas on CBS on November 29th from 9-11 ET/PT.
