Tabloid rumors have been swirling over the past weeks that Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher’s marriage may be on the rocks. Fisher is the center for the Nashville Predators.
According to Fox Sports, a source close to the couple has told Star Magazine that they are experiencing marital troubles due to Underwood’s busy career: “Mike is fuming. Carrie is thrilled about all the opportunities but she’s very conflicted and confused. She and Mike are barely speaking.”
However, the National Hockey League posted a video on Youtube from December 28, 2013, of Carrie enthusiastically cheering on her hubby at the recent Predators v. LA Kings game after he scored a goal in the third period.
We have to ask: if the marriage were really in trouble, would she be there at all?
Carrie even sent out a tweet on December 28 calling her beau “my favorite player”:
Well @mikefisher1212 scored 2 goals tonight so I guess he’s my favorite player again…& TFK’s pretty cool, and I guess ice cream is ok too.

In April, Carrie also told People Magazine in an April 2013 interview: “If Mike ever told me he needed me to quit, I’d quit. When you make that promise to somebody, and you stand before God and your family and friends, you’ve got to do everything that you possibly can to make that work.”
Brad Paisley’s wife Kimberly Williams Paisley does not take seriously the rumor, started by The National Enquirer, that husband Brad Paisley is cheating with Carrie. “Are you serious? Wow! I hope it helps our careers! That’s all I can say,” laughed Kimberly.
Judging from her cheers at the hockey game, Carrie doesn’t take the rumors seriously either.
