Cowboy Lassoed A Calf On A Moving Car [VIDEO]

According to The Huffington Post, a calf had fallen off the back of a truck on January 3, 2017 and was slowly making it’s way down Highway 79 in Paris, Tennessee. The Henry County Sheriff, Monte Belew, made his way to the scene and attempted to herd the poor calf off the road and even tried turning on his siren to scare it away! In his failed attempts, he contacted the local rancher, David Bevill.

This is where it gets interesting. Sheriff Belew told Bevill to get on the hood of his car and to lasso up the calf.

“….and it all worked out. Think it was the best loop I’ve ever thrown in my life.” said Bevill.

Although Bevill did manage to rope up the calf, he slipped off the cruiser when the baby cow pulled him. The best part of this rescue, it was all caught on video!

The calf is now safe and the video now has over 3 million views!
