Carrie Fisher Wanted Harrison Ford To Sing During Her Oscar ‘Death Reel’

She’s not physically with us anymore, but Carrie Fisher’s spirit lives on. From her prozac-style urn to her Oscar request, Carrie made sure her legacy and humorous nature would always keep us entertained.

Back in 2010, Carrie shared that she made a very specific request of Harrison Ford while at a party. Vulture quotes her from a podcast she was a guest on: “I asked him  if he would be in my death reel, and if he would sing. It’s just something I want. He’s going to sing ‘Melancholy Wookiee.”

Now that the word is out, this better happen! We could use something good and lighthearted, and this sounds like just the thing. Don’t fail us Oscar committee and Harrison Ford.
