Barry Zito Tosses Out First Country Album

Former MLB pitcher Barry Zito has just released his first country EP.

No kidding.

“No Secrets” includes five songs that were either written or co-written by Zito.  Even though he played ball for 15-years—with of course high profile stints in both Oakland and with the Giants…..the music business is in Zito’s blood.

His father was a conductor and arranger for Nat King Cole and eventually became an artist manager.  Zito’s mother was a backup singer for Cole.  Zito retired from baseball in 2015.
