According to the Sacramento Bee, Sacramento hasn’t received this amount of rain at such a fast pace in 100 years!
Just three short years ago, the city had it’s driest year on record with less than five inches of rain hitting the area.
Apparently, we have already received over 23 inches from October to now, and more is on the way. 1982-1983 there was 37 inches of rain, and 2017 has already outpaced the time frame for the rain fall 34 years ago.
