LeAnn Rimes is best known for her country-pop heyday in the 90s and early 00s, but she just reached No. 1 again on a very unusual chart.
According to Billboard, Rimes has just hit the top of the Dance Club Songs chart with her latest song, “Long Live Love.”
While the track was recorded by Rimes as a traditional pop song, it’s numerous remixes have propelled it into the spotlight of many dance clubs.
Speaking about the song’s success, Rimes said:
“I’m so happy the message of ‘Long Live Love’ connected and people are dancing to it. We wrote the song to speak to our need for love. So, I appreciate the love from the dance world. And, of course, I love collaborating with the best of the best! I am honored to be a part of it all.”
What’s even more shocking? This is her second time topping this chart! She first hit this peak back in 2009 with her song “What I Cannot Change.”
“Long Live Love” is from Rimes latest album, Remnants, which debuted on February 3rd. If you want to check out the No. 1 remix, you can listen down below!
