Rude Customer Returns With Tip And Apology Note For Starbucks Barista

If you’ve ever worked in customer service you know. Sometimes customers can make your day, and sometimes they can break it. Just like sometimes a rude waiter or cashier can completely ruin your experience at a store or restaurant.

We don’t always mean to, but sometimes it’s reallllly hard not to take out a bad day on someone else. I still cringe at the time I was 16 and was really not ┬ánice to a couple I sat at the restaurant I worked in. I returned to their table about five minutes later and apologized, but the damage was done.

Last week, in the small city of Bishop, CA, a woman was having a bad day and ended up taking it out on her barista at Starbucks. She realized the error of her ways though, and returned the next day with a hand-written apology note and a $50 bill for the young man who had helped her the day before.
