If you’ve ever worked in customer service you know. Sometimes customers can make your day, and sometimes they can break it. Just like sometimes a rude waiter or cashier can completely ruin your experience at a store or restaurant.
We don’t always mean to, but sometimes it’s reallllly hard not to take out a bad day on someone else. I returned to their table about five minutes later and apologized, but the damage was done.
Last week, in the small city of Bishop, CA, a woman was having a bad day and ended up taking it out on her barista at Starbucks. She realized the error of her ways though, and returned the next day with a hand-written apology note and a $50 bill for the young man who had helped her the day before.
