So, you might be thinking to yourself, how does someone accidentally donate a wedding dress? It’s a freaking wedding dress! But, if you’ve ever donated something by accident, then you probably get it. I completely understand, because a few months ago I gave away my custom drilled bowling ball by mistake. I miss you Dave Grohling Ball.
Granted, a wedding dress might be a little more important and sentimental than a bowling ball, so I can only imagine how crappy this husband, Chad, felt when he realized that he dropped off the bag containing the wedding dress, along with some bags of old baby toys, at the local Goodwill.
His wife, Natalie, took to social media and continued to search local Goodwills all in hopes of bringing her beloved dress home…and it worked! The gown was found in the back of the store where it has been dropped off.
Natalie told the Today Show, “I was so happy! As soon as I got home, I put it on and pranced around the house in it for a couple of hours.”
So happy that this story has a happy ending, but still sad for me that I was never reunited with my bowling ball…
