When I was 14, I was probably obsessing over cheer leading and getting a boyfriend. Ew.
Not Anna Fluetsch—the Sacramento teen spent the whole summer making teddy bears by hand and getting friends and local companies to sponsor them. She ended up with 50 gorgeous bears and over $2,500 dollars, all of which was donated to Sutter Children’s Center.
Her goal was to help the patients feel calmer and to provide them with “a little but of comfort.” She adds that you’re never too young to make a difference. She is right and definitely has a good head on her shoulders!
Great job, Anna!
