Scientists Reveal Cheese Is ‘Addictive As Drugs’

A new study found why we LOVE cheese – it’s “as addictive as drugs”.

DailyMail.co.uk says that:

“Scientists claim that cheese is as addictive as drugs because of a chemical called casein.”

A study found that cheese and dairy can trigger the part of our brains that are responsible for addiction – the opioid receptors.

The also study says that this finding is why pizza is one of the most popular foods in the world – because of the cheese topping!

“Some scientists believe the influence of cheese is so potent that they refer to it as ‘dairy crack’.”

Milk only contains a “tiny” amount of the chemical casein but it takes 10 pounds of milk to make one pound of cheese so the chemical is concentrated in cheese.

These findings may help doctors change the way they treat patients for obesity.
