McDonald's To Phase Out Hi-C Orange From Menu; Replacing With New Drink -blogged by @BenitaShae ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #McDonalds will begin phasing out orange Hi-C on May 1st, according to a memo posted this week on Reddit. A representative for the fast food chain told Eat This, Not That that locations worldwide will stop carrying the drink after July. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to the memo, the new “proprietary” beverage called #Sprite TropicBerry will be served exclusively at McDonald’s locations. It’s a part of the company’s partnership with Coca-Cola. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ McDonald’s website describes #HiCOrange Lavaburst as “packed with crisp citrus flavor,” but customers won’t be able to enjoy it for much longer. McDonald's has been advised to keep selling it until their current supply is all gone.
