Hershey’s released a new line of special edition candy bars that are suppose to represent 6 iconic American summer destinations. Which, to them, means states. The “Taste of America” collection includes California, Georgia, New York, Hawaii, Texas, and Florida. What exactly are the flavors?
California is represented as a strawberry-flavored Kit Kat. Georgia gets a honey-roasted peanut butter Reese’s. (What about peaches?) New York inspired a cherry cheesecake Hershey’s chocolate bar. Hawaii is a coconut-almond-flavored Hershey’s Kiss. Florida, for whatever reason, gets 2 fruity Twizzler flavors: key lime pie and orange cream pop. Texas is the BBQ-flavored peanuts PayDay we never asked for.
I’d change a few things, but I like candy and America. So I don’t hate it. The California and New York actually sound really good. If you’re willing to give these a try too, they’re available now for a limited time.
