I almost had a heart attack when I read this, so I am sorry if I did the same to you. Don’t freak out, because that freakin’ delicious cheese skirt (and you know, the meat patty) isn’t going anywhere. Only the name is changing due to a trademark issue, which you might have already noticed on most of their social media and locations.
A Truckee restaurant called Squeeze In trademarked their name in 2007 and has begun to franchise. To avoid confusion, and because Squeeze Inn was never officially trademarked (according to The Sacramento Bee) the owner, Travis Hausauer, complied.
You can now get your burger fix at Squeeze Burger, which Travis says he likes better anyway because it’s self explanatory. Cheese skirts for all!
