Miranda Lambert And Family Played A Part In Bill Clinton’s Impeachment

Once upon a time, the Lamberts had a family business, and it sounds pretty freaking cool. Miranda’s parents were private investigators and occasionally Miranda would help out in cases. Dave Grohl’s (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) mom recently wrote a book interviewing other famous musicians’ moms, one of whom was Miranda’s mom, Beverly.

Sounds Like Nashville shares some excerpts from Victoria Grohl’s book:

“[One] caper involved dressing Miranda in a junior-high cheerleading costume and sending her out ‘selling candy for the school’ so that she could look for the incriminating evidence her parents needed.”

Obviously Miranda decided to pursue another passion in life. Her parents kept on in the PI world, when they were approached by lawyers for Paula Jones with the goal of investigating President Clinton.

Their files on the case ended up being subpoenaed (after a crazy incident involving a helicopter and Bev hiding the files and keeping their location a secret from her husband) and were crucial to the impeachment investigation.

This book actually sounds REALLY interesting.
