On Tuesday, the Sacramento International Airport announced a deal that could potentially bring in more flights and lower costs. According to the Sacramento Bee, the deal begins in July and will extend over the next five years.
This deal will lower business costs for airlines in Sacramento, making SMF more attractive for service expansions. 11 out of 13 air carriers at SMF are set to sign the new agreement, including Southwest, American, United and Alaska.
Additionally in July, parking fees are set to increase according to KCRA. The hourly fee will be bumped up $1 and the maximum will rise to $18.
