That’s right! Our very own Roseville topped the list of family-friendly cities in the Golden State. Smart Asset used a variety of “livability and cost metrics” to rank the top ten places to raise a family and a bunch of NorCal area cities made it into the top 10 (you can find the specific methodology on their website).
According to the site:
Roseville offers young families a good education system combined with a strong local economy. Roseville ranks fourth in the number of high school graduates taking college preparatory courses and 93% of high school students graduate. The city also scores in the top 25 for both its unemployment rate and its poverty rate. Plus, Roseville is one of the leading cities where millennials are buying homes.
Also making the list are Rocklin and Davis. Good to know we have some great options right in our backyard.
