The vegetarian-friendly pop up will be located at 1801 L Street, in the previous Saddle Rock building. According to the Sacramento Business Journal, Burger Patch will be serving up bacon cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and milkshakes all without meat.
According to the restaurant creator, Phillip Horn:
“One of our principles is convenient consciousness,” he said. “The concept is to keep it really simple for people to explore the other food that might be out there and not make it too complicated.”
And if you’re worried about the taste, Horn says “The meat substitutes keep getting better. This stuff is amazing.”
Eventually Burger Patch would like to land a permanent location, but that is still TBD. You can try them out starting at noon on Saturday, May 13 (they will serve until they run out of food).
