The Sacramento City Unified School District confirmed to KCRA nearly 30 schools have shown symptoms of norovirus.
2,000 people in Yolo County schools alone have experienced symptoms of the virus, including vomiting, stomach cramps and/or diarrhea.
The names of the schools that have possibly seen an outbreak are being kept under wraps right now, but Tracy Unified School District did send parents a message about a possible outbreak and are working with health officials to clean up on site.
Don’t be a hero. If you’re sick, stay home and get better. Trust me, no one wants to be around you. If you are experiencing norovirus symptoms, make sure to wash your hands, wash fruits and vegetables, cook all meat thoroughly, and clean up with bleach after vomiting.
