Walking Dead Star Leaves Instagram And Pens A Note To Her Body Shamers

Look, I get people in the media open themselves up to certain scrutiny, but no one deserves to have people comment on their body and tell them they need to lose weight or that they don’t look good enough. Thinness does not equate to attractiveness. It just doesn’t.

The Walking Dead’s Alanna Masterson gave birth before the latest season of the show was filmed, and like a badass, went back to work shortly after. And the social media trolls hit her hard, which is why she has left Instagram.

She didn’t do so without posting an epic not first:

Dear Instagram trolls, body shamers, and the men and woman who think it’s ok to comment on my weight: I hope that you don’t have children. And if you do, I hope you teach them about kindness and acceptance. I hope they learn that it isn’t ok to make fun of people or call people names….

…So before you decide to make a comment about my chest being “too large” or how “fat” I’ve become, just know that this little girl got the best start to life. I wouldn’t have changed it for a second. I would’ve gladly continued to eat enough calories to produce milk for her little bones to grow.

Get ’em girl! You can see the full note at Huffington Post. By the way, she is freaking gorgeous and people telling her otherwise are bonkers.
