Bankrate.com ranked the top 50 metro areas in the United States, and Sacramento came in the top three…for places that are terrible at beginning your career.
Houston is apparently the best place for young people to kick of the professional work experience, while San Bernadino is the biggest bust.
According to the Sacramento Business Journal, the ranking uses data from Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce, the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Gallup-Healthways Community Well-Being Index and the Council for Community and Economic Research.
The top five list is rounded out by 2. Minneapolis 3. Washington, D.C. 4. Milwaukee 5. Dallas.
And the bottom five list includes 2. Miami 3. Sacramento 4. Memphis 5. Tampa
