Housing Costs Rise Again—How Much More Will You Pay By The End Of 2017?

The Sacramento housing market is booming; Both the Wall Street Journal and the LA Times have deemed the city’s real estate “boom town”. And you know what that means? Prices are going to increase even more by the end of the year. Oh joy.

I recently had a friend pay $25,000 over asking price to get into her new house. I just can’t. I’ll be renting forever.

Many people, myself included, are worried that the boom will eventually lead many people to leave strictly because they can’t afford to live here anymore.

And this doesn’t help…according to Fox 40, by the end of 2017, Sacramento’s housing prices are expected to be 7.2 percent higher than they were in 2016.

Does someone want to just give me a house? I’ll totally take care of it.
