This Airline Is Stepping Up Security By Testing Out Facial Recognition

Soon you may not need to worry about using a pesky ticket when you travel via plane. JetBlue is stepping up their game with facial recognition software. They are testing out the system in Boston with passengers flying to Aruba.

According to Boston.com, passengers will be photographed at the airport and then have their images compared to those on their passports (and eventually other IDs I am assuming).

I wonder how this works of you have surgery, or lose weight or something else like that. I guess it’s probably a pretty sophisticated system OR you would just get a new picture. Also, this seems kind of Minority Report-ish.
