Family From Canada Drives 16 Hours To Adopt A Dog From Front Street Animal Shelter

A lot of the shelters in Sacramento are full or very close to it right now. To help combat that, Front Street is offering free adoptions through the month of June and promoting the heck out of the event on social media.

One family saw the post on Facebook and decided to come all the way from British Columbia, Canada to save a life. They ended up falling in love with a pit bull (which is easy to do) named Joyce and took her back to the homeland.

So thankful for people like them! You can do your part to help by adopting a new best friend today. Adoption fees are waived all June.
