Inmate Accidentally Released From Sacramento County Jail On Tuesday

Oopsie doopsie. On Tuesday morning, Alamar Houston was released after a court appearance in Sacramento County. He was supposed to return to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation after court, but somehow a mix-up occurred.

According to KCRA, Houston was arrested in July of 2015 after he his three cyclists in a stolen car and appeared to be under the influence. He is serving a 35 year sentence.

Police found Houston early this morning (Thursday) and rearrested him. There are no details on how or why he was released.

I’ve be watching a ton of Orange is the New Black and this is like something straight out of a Netflix original series…
