Six Flags is supposed to be a place for fun, but this weekend a teenage girl had a terrifying experience at a park in New York.
The 14-year-old was seen dangling from Sky Ride at Six Flags Great Escape and a witness caught the incident on camera. After hearing her scream, park visitors sprung into action and formed a group, catching her when she finally fell.
According to CBS News, the teen hit a tree before eventually landing in the crowd. She is now listed in stable condition. Six Flags says it was user error and insists the teen did something while on the ride that caused her to become free from the safety bar.
One of the guests who caught her was also taken to the hospital, and released, due to a back injury.
I think my days of amusement park rides are over.
