Fireworks Banned In 10 Sacramento Area Communities—Where Will You Get Fined?

I wish they were banned where I live, mostly because for the next few weeks my dog spends half his time in the closet hiding.

To be clear, illegal fireworks are banned everywhere and you can fined anywhere from $500 to $50,000 with jail time included. So, stick to the legal ones if you need to set something loud on fire.

According to the Sacramento Bee, the 10 communities where ALL fireworks are banned are:

  • El Dorado County
  • Unincorporated Placer County
  • Unincorporated Nevada County
  • Grass Valley
  • Davis
  • Granite Bay
  • Auburn
  • Loomis
  • Meadow Vista
  • Colfax

All other communities can start buying their fireworks TODAY at noon through July 4th. And, you can even help support local charities. This list is old, but I am assuming a lot of the places are the same.
