Yessss! Chipotle always refused to make queso, for whatever reason. The burrito chain has since changed their mind after years of fans begging them to! They opened a test kitchen in NYC where they introduced frozen margaritas, buñuelos and a yummy cheese dip.
You’re probably asking yourself, “why wouldn’t they serve it? What’s the big deal?” The CEO actually had a good response, if you’re a health nut.
“All of our competitors sell queso, and we know some customers don’t come to Chipotle because we don’t offer it. But because we refuse to use industrial additives, added colors, flavors or preservatives in our food, it’s very difficult to make queso that meets our standards,” he said.
There’s no word on if/when it’ll hit stores nationally, but I wouldn’t hate if it did. Great. Now I want a burrito.
Dip It Low, Pick It Up Slow. Roll it all around. Imma show you how to make your man say: "QUESO!" 😉 @chipotlemexicangrill #itshere ____________________________________________________ #ChipotleNext #chipotle #bestlifever #trending #excited #queso #cheese #mexican #foodporn #foodlove #foodie #food52 #food #feedingtime #yummy #eeeeeats #slurp
