Jennifer Lawrence Is “Not Pretty Enough” To Play This Murdered Actress

I am a HUGE true crime fan, so I know a lot about the Manson family and the murder of Sharon Tate. It might be weird, but whatever.

Quentin Tarantino recently announced that his next film will focus on Manson which means someone will undoubtedly be cast as Sharon Tate. Jennifer Lawrence and Margot Robbie’s names are being mentioned, but no one knows for which roles as the script isn’t finished yet.

Debra Tate, Sharon’s sister has voiced her disapproval of JLaw playing Sharon, and apparently it has nothing to do with acting skill but boils down to looks and looks alone.

“Not that I have anything against her, but she’s not pretty enough to play Sharon,” Debra told TMZ. and added that she’d prefer Margo Robbie who “even carries herself is similar to that of Sharon.”

She went on to say that “physical beauty wouldn’t be so important but Sharon’s six years of her public life were all based on that incredibly beautiful, natural, perfect look in both soul, heart and spirit. So that’s what I’m looking to try to capture.”

I personally think that Jennifer is gorgeous and has the ability to study Sharon and get her demeanor down. However, Margot is undoubtedly beautiful as well and could knock the role out of the park.

Debra has the rights to Sharon’s image and likeness, so we probably won’t be seeing JLaw in the film, at least not as Sharon.
