Sacramento Somehow Ranks As The Best City In NorCal For Home Renters

It seems kind of hard to believe, considering how hard it can be to find a place to live  in Sacramento and the high, ever-increasing price tag attached to it…but maybe that’s just because I have two dogs?

While Sacramento was the top ranking city in Northern California, it was number 53 nation wide on a list of 150 places. Additionally, out of those 150 cities, the Capitol City ranked 106 for rental market and availability, which, to me, is kind of the biggest factor involved in renting. It’s hard to find a place when there isn’t a lot of vacancies at an affordable price.

But, to make their list, Wallet Hub also took into account including historical rental-price changes, cost of living, job availability and safety.

Cleveland, OH was considered the worst place to rent, followed by Detroit and then Oakland.
