Once I’m in the bathroom I’m not super particular but…who doesn’t love the fluffy warmth of a high quality bath towel?
Not this guy!
So it’s great to note that Home and Garden section of the Washington Post recently talked with some of America’s top towel experts about what makes a towel tops!
Experts like interior designer Alessandra Branca, who said she loves the Bello, by Sferra. She says a bath towel’s primary purpose is being absorbent and for that, the Bello is the only one she’ll let hang on her rack. (Towel rack, that is!)
A senior buyer at online retailer Bellacor, Jane Feller, says a good towel has a lot of “grams per square meter”. The higher the number, the heavier and denser a towel will feel, and the more absorbent it will be. Anything else will quite literally be all wet!

Me, I like a thick, plush towel too and while all of this is good news to soak up but if I’m being honest? My all-time favorite kind of towel is any one that is dry!
