Club In Downtown Sacramento Closes After Liquor License Is Pulled

Nearly a week after two patrons were shot inside the building, the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control pulled Parlare Euro Lounge’s liquor license. According to KCRA, “the business is indefinitely prohibited from selling or serving alcoholic beverages.”One bouncer and one club goer were hit by bullets during the shooting, but fortunately both sustained non life-threatening injuries.

An investigation has been underway by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for several months for “disorderly activities at the business,” as police have been dispatched to the club multiple times for incidents including disturbing the peace, assault and public drunkenness.

Additionally, Parlare faced a suspension in 2012 for similar charges.

It appears that due to the suspension, the club owners have decided to close up shop, posting the following on Facebook.
