MLB Teams Unite To Help 7-Year-Old With 3D-Printed Hand Throw First Pitch At Every Park

This right here is why I love Twitter. 7-year-old Hailey Dawson  has a rare defect that left her without three fingers on her right hand, according to the Daily Dot. Because of this, she has a 3D-printed hand.

But that doesn’t slow her down.

Hailey’s dream is to throw out the first pitch at every major park, and she is on her way to making it happen, thanks to Twitter.

She’s already checked the Orioles and Nationals off of her list, but once Bleacher Report posted the video above, the invites started pouring in from other teams.

This warms my freaking heart so much! Hailey is also using this opportunity to spread awareness for Poland Syndrome, which affects one in every 20,000 newborns that causes an underdeveloped chest wall on one side and occasionally affects fingers.
