Blake Shelton’s First Pick On “The Voice” Is The New Brett Eldredge

When Mitchell Lee started singing on the premier episode of “The Voice,” I looked over at my fiance and said, “Team Blake is about to get its own Brett Eldredge.” And then he did and all was right in the world.

Clearly the aren’t the same person and I am hoping Mitchell paves his own way as the show progresses. But, being compared to Brett is definitely a positive.

The 29-year-old from Charleston, South Carolina earned a chair turn for his rendition of Hootie and the Blowfish’s “Hold My Hand” from everyone except Miley Cyrus and after a short deliberation, chose to be a part of Blake Shelton’s team.

I am looking forward to seeing more from Mitchell, are you?
