The last time he hit the field was in 2004 with Janet Jackson, but multiple sources say that the 2018 halftime show will be performed by none other than JT, aka Justin Timberlake.
It makes sense—you’d be hard pressed to find someone that hates Justin Timberlake, or doesn’t like at least a few of his songs. Plus, he has A LOT of celebrity friends that would probably be open to promoting him in fun ways and joining him during the performance.
AOL reports that Timberlake is in the final stages of securing a contract for the show, and as of now, it is just him—no other collaborators are in the mix (think Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars).
I am not the biggest fan of Justin Timberlake, but I do like him as a performer and I think he has what it takes to pull off a successful halftime show.
