The House From A Famous 90’s TGIF Sitcom Is Being Torn Down [Photo]

I guess too much love burst from the seams of the home featured on “Family Matters.” The residence in Chicago is being torn down to make room for three new housing options.

Much like the “Full House” home and other sitcom houses, the Chicago home was used in the credits as the base for the Winslow’s, but the show was actually shot on set with man made interiors.

“The seller decided that it is not feasible to renovate the property, so they are building three brand new homes there,” Coldwell Banker’s Lissa Weinstein told TODAY.

You’ll just have to get your fix of the “Family Matters” home when you binge watch Steve Urkel and the Winslows on Hulu next month.
